Amico Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer of Medical Equipment and Architectural Products with 5 manufacturing facilities employing over 500 people across North America.


  • Formal college or university education completed, preferably in a Business program
  • Minimum 2 years full-time working experience
  • Knowledge of BV/SAP is an Asset
  • Sourcing experience is a must
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, performance and developing long-term relationships
  • Experience in Metal fabrication and manufacturing an asset
  • Highly organized, creative and self-motivated
  • Exceptional Communication and written skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Exude professional work ethics
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment


  • Preparing and executing RFQs/POs
  • Sourcing vendors, negotiating and finalizing agreements
  • Liaise with cross functional teams such as suppliers, production, engineering and customer service to ensure goods are available to meet production requirements on time
  • Negotiating terms and delivery for lowest total cost
  • Continually seek opportunities to improve services and reduce costs including freight
  • Review purchase requisition requests daily
  • Expediting overdue orders and rush requests
  • Visiting suppliers as needed to evaluate and monitor quality and workmanship
